5-7 November, Helsinki: Training + Conference on economic governance and UN2030 Agenda.

    The ETUC is convening a TUSLO training on the 5 and 6 November 2019 in Helsinki, Finland.

    The training will start on the 5th of November at 2.00 PM and will end on the 6th of November at 1 PM.
    During the training we will work for:

    • identifying main challenges that the new Stability and Growth Pact should address;
    • Selecting main indicators of development for the EU;
    • Setting a TU position for a new European Semester.

    After the training, on the 6th afternoon, ITUC and ETUC are organising a meeting to discuss the role of the Agenda UN2030, since the newly established European Commission expressed a strong commitment towards the 2030 Agenda. Therefore, the SDGs will be the paradigm around which EU policies (EU Semester cycle included) should be shaped.

    This meeting will be followed, on the 7th of November (9am – 5pm), by a High level Conference on the UN2030 Agenda and the SDGs. This event will focus on this important challenge, including representatives from key institutions.
