ETUC event on the EPSR review
6 July 2022 @ 14:00 – 7 July 2022 @ 18:00
The ETUC will organising the first conference on the Status of implementation of European Pillar of Social Rights. The event will take place on the 6th July (afternoon) and 7th July 2022 (morning) in Montepulciano, Italy, in the context of ‘Luci sul lavoro’ (Lights on work), a festival that annually brings together trade unions, government representatives and other stakeholders from Italy and from across Europe. We kindly ask you to save this date.
With this event we would like to bring together TUSLOs to support the ETUC in assessing the European Pillar of Social Rights and in monitoring the implementation of the Pillar’s Action Plan. The format foresees that each year we will put under review 6 principles of the EPSR.
Through structured discussions we would like to engage you in reviewing key principles of the Pillar. This year we have selected (tentative selection):
- principle 4 on active support to employment,
- Principle 8 on social dialogue,
- Principle 10 on health and safety at work,
- Principle 14 on minimum income
- Principle 18 on long-term care, and
- Principle 20 on access to essential services.
The event will be organised in a hybrid format (in-person and online) and max 20 reimbursed seats are available for in-presence participation. We kindly encourage you to join us in Montepulciano for face-to-face discussions.
The interpretation will be provided in English, Italian, French, Spanish and in one language based on received registrations.
